Meaning “stone,” the pattern for this rug was taken from an eye-catching motif made by block printing on paper. The voids left between each imprint are interpreted in white flax fiber while the printing itself is finished in hues of gold in wool and dull silk. This design is expertly tufted by skilled artisans.
