Named for the patterning found in veins of insect wings, this delicate arrangement connects wispy, tendril-like appendages in a composition of rotational symmetry. The source of this design’s pattern can be found in the intricate folding of earwig wings, which have been used as the basis for 3D origami modeling studies. This design is expertly tufted by skilled artisans.
