Paris-based Natalie Lété produces children's books and graphics, knitted and stuffed toys, glass pictures, patterned dishes, postcards, ceramic sculptures, silkscreen printed t-shirts, rugs and jewels in limited edition. Born to a Chinese father and German mother, her childhood was nurtured by popular and folk art. Her work is colourful, naïve and poetic, inspired by her travels as well as vintage toys and old engravings of flowers and animals. In collaboration with Tai Ping, Lété contributed fanciful designs for the Petite Galerie collection, which includes cats, rabbits, butterflies and more expressed in a brilliant palette.
