Interior Design: Pierre-Yves Rochon
Domaine Les Crayères opened its doors in 1983. Located on the beautiful Saint-Nicaise hill in Reims, the area is so steeped in history that it was listed as a UNESCO world heritage site in 2015. Within the hotel sits two-Michelin-Star restaurant Le Parc, run by executive chef Christophe Moret.
The restaurant’s design is as detailed and flawless as its food. Interior architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, one of the greatest names in classicist style, pays homage to fine fabrics, antique furniture, and the quintessential French art de vivre.
The restaurant basks in a green glow thanks to large bay windows that look out onto the lush garden. A Tai Ping Axminster carpet brings the green floral motif underfoot, working in tandem with potted white orchids and elegant drapery to recreate manicured nature indoors. In keeping with the classical style of the eatery, the rug features a sophisticated border to fit the rotund edge of the oblong space.
