Dyeing

A small dye sample is prepared in the laboratory using the highest-quality dyes from leading European manufacturers.

Stenciling

The first stage of preparing the tufting canvas, during which the design is artistically mapped onto a template.

Punching

The design template is perforated prior to being attached to the blank canvas.

Staining

Once attached to to the canvas, the template is stained, resulting in a transfer of the design through the punched holes.

Tufting

The dyed wool is ready to be wound onto small packages.

Finishing

The final stage, during which the carpet is sheared, trimmed and carved by hand to produce a beautiful surface and to highlight design features.

Sampling

Once the tufting has been completed, latex is applied to the back of the carpet to secure the yarn to the canvas. Samples can be created as requested to assure quality and color specification.
